Invest in Caring not Killing!
In the West Bank, Afghanistan and elsewhere, women are fighting for the lives of loved ones and the survival of the entire community in the face of military occupation which denies them food, water, medical attention. We have watched on our TV screens the bombing of Afghanistan, the unfolding of another holocaust in the West Bank, a US attempted coup in Venezuela and preparations for again bombing Iraq – no one can say they didn’t know. What can we do to defend and strengthen women in Palestine, Afghanistan, mothers of Israeli refuseniks . . . and stop war?
