I am an irish person whose lived along the coast of northern ireland, for years, in a cesspit called bangor, which is directly downwind from the major cesspit Sellafield/Windscale across the irish sea, i've now got a particularly virulent form of cancer, for a person of my age which is unusual. Before i was diagnosed, i remember watching my neighbours baby who had leukeamia, and thinking god help the poor child. Little did i know i had cancer too. coincidence or not. How many more cancer clusters are there along the irish coastline? which is directly downwind from Sellafield/Windscale. I know the British government dont give a fuk about ordinary people, espeacially irish people and it may think wat the fuk their only irish people who cares, but for myself and others whose lives are cut short and who have to go through gruelling radio or chemo therapy our lives do matter, we are not second class citizens or a second class race taking all the shite and waste that yous brits throw at us. SHUT DOWN SELLAFIELD WE DONT WANT YUR POLLUTION AND YUR DISEASE.

i feel for you - this whole edifice not just Sellafield should be shut down as soon as possible - large scale die off is a part of it - and the nuclear industry needs to be run off the face of the planet - but we're stuck with it - what to do? start to investigate ways of neutralising this stuff - not producing more - I believe the sarcophagus at Chernobyl is beginning to break down and release more radiation. Fuck our rulers - how do we do this?

Bangor is not directly downwind from Sellafield - in fact, the reverse.
