The handful of people who made it to the LAF discussion on Mayday were confronted with as many police outside the venue, Conway Hall. Cops were photographing all those that entered the building (be they attending the anarchist meeting or the larger buddhist gathering in the small hall).

On being confronted by staff of SPES, who explained to them the offensive nature of their actions, they entered the building and publically removed / exposed film from their camara (whether this was the real film is unconfirmable).

The meeting was much smaller than usual but productive and a broad range of topics were covered. One speaker urged the police to keep a low profile on Mayday (mindful of the then possible Police monitoring of the LAF meeting). :)
