Alia's Story: Patriot Act Trudges On

Alia and 19 friends had to miss the first parts of the biggest
demos. They eventually got there in the early afternoon and were
able to participate in some of the other demos. So if it did
anything to their ability to participate in the largest demo of,
the week, it certainly only strengthened their resolve for all
of the smaller ones, and any others to come. I'll try building
a transcript or at least a generalized essay of Alia's interview
here for those of you who can't see online video.
But I'll have to do it when I'm not so tired. Right now I'm
hardly even coherent, having just returned home late last nite
myself.
This past week has been overwhelming, inspiring, beautiful,
and full of non-violent overthrow. My idea of a great time.
