Wake up……..wake up early ! As the body count mounts, and
car-culture-capitalism careers chaotically towards permanent environmental
destruction, it’s time to

RIDE FOR YOUR LIFE ON MAYDAY !

Bring your love of life, your friends and family, your anger and humour.
Bring wigs, fancy dress, skeleton masks. Bring music, flags, whistles,
leaflets. Bring food & drink. Bring a smile and hope in your hearts.

Here’s the outline plan for the day, subject as ever to enormous change on
the day !
Start 7.30am
South Ride – Camberwell Green, SE5
North Ride – Camden Town Tube, NW1

The 2 Rides will aim to meet up approx 10am outside the US Embassy – for a
brief protest against the exportation of car culture & oil dependency;
against a foreign policy that cares more for profits and US supremacy than
life and freedom.

Followed by a chillout in local parks & cafes.

The Rides will regroup approx 12 noon at Speakers Corner before moving off
to join the May Fayre in Mayfair in a fast moving, mobile procession.

All bikes, skates, boards, wheelchairs, and anything on wheels with no
engine are welcome to join us. This Mayday take the day off, go on strike,
ring in well, come and ride, play and protest with us on May 1st !
