Massive Protests in Paris

The BBC is reporting massive spontaneous protests accross France with a huge demonstration in Paris. People carrying banners marked 'Ashamed to be French' in response to the election of National-Front leader John Marie Le Pen to the second round of the presidential election.
This result means that the soft (and highly corrupt) right are almost certain to win the election.

They have no right to userp the democratic voice of the voters with their anger at not getting the candidate they wanted into the second round.
Sorry, but the people of France who bothered to vote have spoken, and with 16 candidates to choose from representing all political hues there really is no excuse.
Such childish in antics a modern European country are ridiculous.

Jack, you're wrong.
Those people aren't angry because they "lost", they're angry because a RACIST has made it into the second round of the presidential election.
They're angry because somebody who bases his policies on HATE has come close to getting into power.
And they're angry because a large proportion of ordinary french people have shown themselves to be racists.
And racism is something that all decent minded people deplore.
Racists aren't evil. They're just WRONG.
And so is Jack.
And I feel rather smug, because I just love it when I'm right and other people are WRONG! ;-)

Nobody likes an election which doesnt meet with success, and we socialists all know that when the fascist parties such as in Italy, Spain and Germany didnt quite get their majorities, they burned down the paliament and shot the oposition
