Powell’s Mid East con job, Bush’s fake Anger at Israel and Globalization

Is it just me or is it incredibly cruel of Bush to be holding the promise of an independent state of Palestine dangling over the Palestinian people when his regime has no intention of ever allowing that to occur

Powell’s Mid East con job, Bush’s fake Anger at Israel and Globalization

By Lloyd Hart

After the intentional failure of Colin Powell’s Mid East con job, Bush delivers a speech at a Virginia military school laden with faked seriousness of his regime’s desire for peace in the Mid East as well as broadening his brush stroke adding many more unidentified nations to the "Axis of evil." giving the military students in the audience a taste of pure neo-liberal fluff that will have zero effect on a completely assured Sharon. While at the same time Rumsfeld takes executive action that requires an act of congress (but what does he care he in charge of the military) and puts the entire national guard and the US ground forces under one command for domestic deployment at the whim of one general and the request of any governor (are they getting ready to turn the Hand Maid’s Tale). Ashcroft also shows up and announces a broad restructuring of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, talking about tightening the borders. And then Cheney speaks at the Israeli embassy symbolically swearing US allegiance to the state of Israel having maximum effect in encouraging Sharon that the US will not take any serious action against Israel. Is it just me or is it incredibly cruel of Bush to be holding the promise of an independent state of Palestine dangling over the Palestinian people when his regime has no intention of ever allowing that to occur, but then again I see Bush and his gang of election stealing thugs as cruel Homicide Bombers whose brain trust has finally run out of steam. Venezuela, case in point.

The only thing that can help the Palestinians now are trade sanctions imposed by the EU against Israel as the US is fundamentally incapable of moving against it’s Energy Monopolies who have a profound interest in having the crazy far right wing Jewish fundamentalist armed with the bomb to control the Arabs to keep the oil cheap and with dreams of a new Temple where a Mosque now stands at the head of the Military government of Israel. The EU are the only ones that can now provide a peaceful solution. EU trade sanctions are the only way to force the Labor party in Israel to walk from Sharon’s hanging by a noose cabinet, forcing new elections and I pray, a non expansionist, settlement closing militarily withdrawing Government.

But as the Bush doctrine is cheap oil at any cost including as many Americans’ and any body elses lives as it takes and the creating of third world oil supply junkies in exchange for IMF/World Bank dictated economies, I feel we are in for a global French Revolution. As the populations of the so called developing nations revolt, which we are beginning to see, against the true "Evil Doers" the "we have no intention of letting you rise to our standard of living" European and American Global Corporate Government, how far are the élites willing to go. Will they roll out a more virulent form of small pox to scrub the weaker nations clean? A tactic used to get rid of the pesky brown people when the white élites feel they are not getting the many dead union leaders price for the precious resources they need to maintain their wealth as democracy rule or will they simply capitulate to the new world tree planting farmer co-op.

Well, if they were to capitulate an Independent State of Palestine would be a good place to start. Then we could move to helping the Arabs with their already in motion initiative of reforesting the desert (which was created by previous agribiz bullshit) and giving up the ruling with the iron fist routine. Hell, we could even move off oil on to methane and use the human and animal waste sludge byproduct (not contaminated with toxins) to create top soil to replace the soil our modern version of deforestation and corporate farming washed into the sea contributing to the nutrient load in the fished out oceans destroying whatever capability our seas might have had at rebounding.

But Globalization isn’t going to go away with out a struggle and because this white people know better attitude is standing in the way of a Palestinian State just as it is standing in the way of local land, food and water for local folks as that is exactly the issue in the West Bank, we are in for a long hot global warming weekend in DC.

An admirable 18 year old told me today that we need to dismantle the entire global economy and start over from the ground up so that people can live in peace and harmony in their own communities and I think he is right.
