Suicide Bombers Are Not The Problem

Sid Bursten | 15.04.2002 20:26

The recent rise in frequency and effectiveness of suicide bombings inside Israel has touched off the latest Middle East crisis. This article proposes that, though suicide bombers are A problem, they are not THE problem.

1) Occupying areas of Palestine indefinitely
2) Massacreing Hundreds of Innocent Palestinians
3) Egnoring the Oslo Peace Accord
4) Denying the Palestinians their basic Human Rights
5) Not allowing the Worlds Press into some occupied areas of Palestine - Instead shooting at them!
6) Creating enough Arab Hatred to make suicide attacks commonplace which occupying, humiliating and killing innocent Palestinians has made the conflict escalate outside of anyones control!

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AND STOP LIVING IN DENIAL!!!!!

Ben

4) Denying the Palestinians their basic Human Rights
You have to ask Arafat about that, since 1994, he got the whole palestinian cities in his hand, ask him what did he do with the money...

5) Not allowing the Worlds Press into some occupied areas of Palestine - Instead shooting at them!
Yeh, I didn't hear you saying the same thing to the britons in afganistan...

6) Creating enough Arab Hatred to make suicide attacks commonplace which occupying, humiliating and killing innocent Palestinians has made the conflict escalate outside of anyones control!

If Israel send human bombs because of the hatred that we feel, is OK with you?

Can you dig it?

--The PLO was established in Cairo, 1964, with the mission of DESTROYING the Zionist entity. Back then, you must remember, Isrel was nothing more than a few terrorists going around massacaring Palestinians. Sixteen years after the great calamity that befell the Palestinian people, the PLO was formed, a unifying force intended to regain the land that was stolen from them. This is a just cause. The only reason we allow Israel a right to exist NOW is because it is so well established, not because it has shown it is worthy of existing. We know you would use your children as human shields if the attack were to happen, no one wants to kill the innocent.

2) Massacreing Hundreds of Innocent Palestinians

--Propaganda? Please go and research the following events: Deir Yassin, 1948. Sabra and Chatila, 1982. JENIN, 2002. How much more proof does the world need of your lies and deciet?

3) Egnoring the Oslo Peace Accord
Blowing buses , sloughtering citizens in houndreds is not ignoring Oslo, Hmmmm....
--There is a clear distinction between a National Army, under State control, and a few terrorist organisations networking in the shadows, with more popular support than that of the official government. Individuals pursuing their own war on terror, by terror? Sounds very much like they have decided to play the game on YOUR terms. Of course, very much unlike the US bombardment of Afghan civilians in response to Sept. 11. Back to the point, I'm no supporter of Mr. Arafat, but how can you expect him to reign in a terrorist when you destroy the prisons, and most of the other civilian infrastructure? If you cannot make the distinction between STATE and PRIVATE terrorism, then I'm afraid that someone will be forced teach you. You are only speeding your own demise.

4) Denying the Palestinians their basic Human Rights

--The only people I see destroying aid programs are the Israeli's. Millions of Euro's worth of civilian infrastructure donated by the European Union has been destroyed by Israel. What's the point in Mr. Arafat building anything if all you're going to do is blow it up or bulldoze it?

5) Not allowing the Worlds Press into some occupied areas of Palestine - Instead shooting at them!
Yeh, I didn't hear you saying the same thing to the britons in afganistan...
--Actually, we did. Heroic efforts of REAL journalists like Robert Fisk brought to the worlds attention the human catastophe that was taking place in Afghanistan. He ignored the warnings and went in to see the refugees, and report their suffering. He was even beaten by a mob of poor Afghans, but reasoned that it was merely an expression of grief and anger by a crushed and defeated people, and forgave them their ignorance. This situation is quite different, of course, to a State sanctioned army SHOOTING DEAD journalists who are trying to cover the conflict.

--Have your people been systematically destroyed and humiliated for the last 50 years? I think not. Your nightmare ended when we defeated the Nazi's. I very much doubt that this was YOUR nightmare, personally. But isn't it funny how the children of the oppressed become the oppressors? Or even the ignorant among the oppressed support that oppression?  http://www.independent.co.uk/story.jsp?story=282456
The whole point is that you don't NEED to send human bombers, you have your nice little IDF, courtesy of the USA, to do your dirty work for you. Although, what is quite funny is how long it took the IDF to roll up the West Bank with all that hardware at it's disposal. It just goes to show what a poorly trained, undisciplined fighting force it is. Whilst your boys look for kids to shoot, brave young militiamen fight with their life blood for the freedom of their people. Shouldn't this sort of conflict spark the memory and conscience of Jews who remember the uprisings in the Ghetto's? Those were damn brave men and women who stood up to occupation with little more than sticks and stone, stolen weapons mostly, and managed to beat back the Nazi's military hardware for days. Sound familiar?

"Can you dig it?"
--Indeed.
