On a slightly more serious note, the Metropolitan Police service's web page (started in 1996) features a genuinely very interesting history of London policing, with lots of info about public order situations dating back to the 1830's. Check it out at:

Unfortunately, the police historians haven't got as far as the Poll Tax Riot yet, let alone a summary of anti-capitalist actions in the past ten years, but no doubt this will come in good time. The site has some good background info on the Hyde Park Riot of 1866, "Bloody Sunday" (1887) and early twentieth century anarchist stuff though.
