I hear something at today's Palestine solidarity demonstration that McDonalds was dedicating its profits to help Israel. Did I hear this wrongly? Or was it another company?
Sorry, but this matters; we musn't fall into the trap of thinking that all Jewish people back Sharon or that all backers of Sharon are Jewish. The US/UK ruling classes (including corporations like McDonalds) back Israel because it serves their strategic and economic interests, not because of race or religion.
