Assistance requested: sanctions campaigner's camping gear seized by police

George's Bush | 11.04.2002 13:48

Brian, the man who for 315 days has been camping in Parliament Square to protest against sanctions on Iraq, several days ago had all his equipment confiscated by police due to the Queen Mother’s funeral.

He has now been told that he can reclaim his belongings from Charing Cross police station, but he is in need of a van as they are too large and heavy to be carried.

If you have access to a van which could be used within the next couple of days, please send a text message to 07950 818296.
