The partial withdrawal of Israeli troops designed to quell the growing disquiet from Europe and even the US could now be abandoned in Sharon's desperate bid to carry out his political mandate.

In an interview the Israeli despot said: "It is a battle we will continue to pursue... until we carry out the government's decision which is to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure". This infrastructure does not exclude children, old people or even any basic consideration of humans or values.

Human rights groups condemn the Israeli military for torture but the West watches while the army detains people for over 18 days without access to lawyers or contact with others.

The killing goes on and the mainstream press remain oblivious to their own humanitarian role. According to the twisted set of priorities, the UK is mourning the death of a 102 woman when women and young children are being killed by armed soldiers in what is now a legitimised genocide.
