spoke to ex MEP, Luciana Castellina one of the Italian Peace delegation which was unceremoniously booted out of Israel this morning. She said that the group of MP's and Union leaders were subject to some serious brutality.
She personally had asked for some kind of document explaining why she was being deported, the israeli cops reply was to drag her through the entire airport by her feet calling her a fascist plus other similar insults. "If this is how they treat us imagine how they treat the Palestinians" she said.
The group had arrived on a flight from Rome but were ordered onto a flight to Athens, which is out of order in the case of repatriation they should be sent home.
Some of the group are still trying to get to Israel where ironically they were due to visit some of the victims of the suicide bombings and their familys.
Others members of the group said that they would be sueing the Israeli authorities.
On the same bulletin, 5 minutes later, the TV studio was in contact "Live" with a Francescan Priest who was calling from the church of nativity in Bethlehem , via telephone.
He made a dramtic appeal to the civilised world (anyone know of it's whereabouts ?) claiming that the lives of 40 priests were in danger as the israelis were attacking the church. straight after that they switched to an interview with a Member of the Israeli Govt Daniel Marin / Moran or someting like that. This guy has a dead cert yankkkee accent and deny's that israeli forces are attacking the church and
calls it more Palestinian propaganda.
When told about what the priest had said, yankkkee says that
it's bullshit and starts getting out of his Pram / stroppy cunt ! . The presenter insists that eyewitnesses have said that the Israelis used heavy artillery to smash their way in
matey hangs up. This channel is part of the RAI national TV set up although the main channels are basically concerned with bigging themselves up and running inane quiz shows
