Is this the begining of the end for British monarchy?

The British Empire, where the sun never sets and the blood never dries.

The last "Empress" of India has died at 101. The racist, murderous 'epoch' of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother died yesterday in its sleep. Hopefully in Britain we can now face our genocidal recent past and present. It appears that the hitleresque queen mother was a block to Britain's post Empire develpment and reconciliation. Unfortunately she died before charges for crimes against humanity and genocide could be brought against her. The British mainstream media have gone into overdrive reporting her death but there is relatively little concern here in the UK at her passing. The days of the British monarchy as we know it are finitely numbered.
I hope that this is an end to a great racist, murderous regime. The British Empire was very much a royal project.

Well, i would love to think that the expiry date has come too but, King Blair seems to have other ideas.

That of course is true about President/King Blair, particularly now his advisors at the Foreign Policy Institute think that reviving colonialism is good idea. Maybe it is a dream to hope that this nation can recontextualize its gory past as other than glorious and look to the future in truth and humanity.

Lord Ponsey said; "the Queen Mother WAS history."

That explains why the last 101 years have been torment for the Third World, why we had two horrendous World Wars and why we are all reaping the terror which she and her ilk, sowed.

Now we can face the East End?

The cult of personality that is now being build around the Queen mother as a result of her death is nauseating in the extreme. Sky news and the media in general are trying to paint her as being saint like. Very little is mentioned of her racist and imperialistic attitudes. The manner in which her role is portrayed is by far the most the superficial analysis of her long and pointless life. When the Buckingham Palace was bombed during the Blitz the Queen Mother famously declared that the royals could now face the people of the East end, who had faced intense bombing, without being embarrassed. This is presumably because the plight of the ordinary people of the East end was comparable to the ''suffering'' of the royal family. This fails to recognise that the former were living in slums and were now left homeless as a result of the bombing and the latter only received minor damage to one of their many places of residence.
It is also worth noting that the media coverage of the Queen Mother's death has completely overshadowed the intensification of the oppression of the Palestenian masses by the Israeli state. It is amazing how such an archaic and undemocratic institution such as the monarchy has the ability to do this. It is necessary therefore to fight for a socialist world where the national aspirations of the Palestenians can be realised and the feudal rubbish that is the monarchy can be consigned to dustheap of history.
