CND ANTI star WARs demo pics

Pics from today's CND 'Don't STARt WARS' demo in london that included a couple of sit downs along the route and featured senior police officers threatening people that they'd get beaten badly if things 'get out of hand'. Police say 3500, organisers say 8,000. Some inspiring speeches in Traf square again calling for more direct action against war, as well as info on 'World Ceasefire Day' next september. Grosvenor square park outside the US embassy was chained shut and filled with police so the other planned protest didn't go ahead.

I guiltily didn't make the effort to turn out this time and I would guess there are many waiting for the potential Iraqi nightmare to shift arses.the ruling elite have the upper hand at the moment and many are waiting, traumatised by the way things are going - how can you support Palestinian suicide bombers - extremely repugnant to human values - never mind the karmic individual consequences - all mind control material I'm sure.

agree with lol, except the suicide bombing campaign needs wider debate and than mere condemnation. GLOBAL INTIFADA ON THE WORLD'S ELITE.
