Introducing the London Social Centres Network

Building Liberation | 18.03.2002 12:51

The London Social Centres Network [SCN] was formed
in January 2002. Like the name suggests it is a horizontal network of occupied and legally owned
social centres, Resource centre, Infoshops, Radical
bookshops and independent community centres in London.

The network is open to individuals and collectives who
want to build a society of non-capitalist social relations
and work on a non-hierarchical, anti-authoritarian mode. There are currently a few social centre projects
initiated some occupied and some which are going to
be financed. Here is a list:

Centre uses it's resources to help young offenders
on probation and is soon to start a claimants union.
They are also places for people to pick-up anti-capitalist, anarchist literature and found out about the issues that really effect peoples lives.

We are currently setting up a communications network
