::BCN:: Demonstration in Solidarity with Political Prisoners

At 2200CET 200 people headed for the Verheda Police Station where at least 8 people, arrested during the demonstrations yesterday, were being held.
The protesters began marching around the station chanting and making as much noise as possible to let the detainees know they were there. When they began their second lap at 0120, two riot vans and a team of riot police forced them to march away from the Police Station to St Marti Metro Station, where they were followed closely by four more vans.
At 0200 this morning after a large group left for the final trains, about 50 demonstrators remained in the vicinity; most intending to remain there until our comrades are released.
