Arab conference in Baghdad in solidarity with Intifada, lifting Iraqi sanctions

Works of a conference under the slogan of supporting the Palestinian Intifada and lifting the sanctions imposed on Iraq will start today(9th) in Baghdad. It is attended by representatives for the political organizations and people and vocational organizations in the Arab states.

The conference will be attended by a delegation representing peoples organizations and vocational trade unions in Syria, composed of Ibrahim Shameyah the chairman of the general federation of peasants; the chairman of the journalists union Saber Falhout, the chairman of the dentists union Ramadan Ramadan, the chairman of the Syrian bar association Ahmad Abdo and the chairman of the engineers Union Fayez Mahfouz and the teacher at Damascus university Kamel Omran.
