Same old jingoistic crap from Warmonger Dubya

Bush Speech, six months (& 3,700 dead Afghan civilians) later
Bush Speech, six months (& 3,700 dead Afghan civilians) later

Main points of Bush's speech:
1. If you're not with us, your against us.
2. If you let terrorists into your country or if you give them sanctuary, hell mend you.
3. Men with no respect for life must not be allowed access to the ultimate weapons of death.
4. The military strikes on Afghanistan were justified because the U.S. had to get rid of the Taliban and Al Quaeda.

Problems:
1. Many people were just as horrified by the deaths of Afghan civilians as they were by the deaths of the WTC & Pentagon attacks. Among those named as 'nations of good will' were Saudi Arabia & Turkey. I take it human rights have got no significance in all of this. (Apart from the rights of U.S. citizens to live in safety whie their political leaders conduct mass murder campaigns throughout the world.)
2. America sheltered Al Quaeda's terrorists in Florida where they prepared and trained for the September 11th attacks.
3. George w. Bush has no respect for life, the fact that the civilian death toll in Afghanistan is greater than that in the U.S. on September 11th shows this.
4. If the massive loss of life inflicted by the U.S.-led attacks in Afghanistan can be justified, does that not leave the door open for the justification of the September 11th attacks.

Mass murder is mass murder whether you're a U.S.-trained Saudi Arabian aristocrat or a U.S. president. What happened on September 11th was terrible. What has happened since that day is arguably worse, and is likely to result in more terrorist organisations springing up.
