Aarhus Denmark: Protest against Israeli terror

300 + people gathered Friday March 8th in the Danish town Aarhus to protest the Israeli massacres on Palestinians, demanding an immediate end to the brutal and illegal occupation.

Among the speakers were the former MP for the Danish Socialdemocratic Party Holger Graversen.
He said among other things:
-Since the war criminal Sharon made his deliberate provocation visiting Al Aqsa more than one and a half year ago, Israel has brutally killed and maimed several thousand Palestinians – the majority children and youth in the occupied territories Gaza and the West Bank.
-Like all of you here present I am both shaken and furious about the incredible passivity of the rest of the world in face of these Israeli massacres – perpetrated using modern US war machinery.

He concluded:
- -We have got to support the Palestinians much more in this unequal, but just struggle.

The demonstration was organised by a number of Danish and Palestinian organisations.
The Danish initiative Boycot Israel is initiating a campaign to boycot Israeli goods, sports etc. In the coming weeks and month many new activities in support of the just Palestinian cause will be organised in various towns and districts in Denmark.
