The blatant Israeli violation of international law attacking Palestinian civilian and helath personnel causes anger around the world

Israeli embassy in Oslo Norway surrounded by ambulances


15 ambulances using their sirens surrounded the Israeli embassy in Oslo, Norway, Saturday morning, protesting the Israeli killings of health personnel, including ambulance medics from UN and the Palestinian PRCS.

In an open letter the Norwegian ambulance drivers expressed their chock and disbelief that Israeli soldiers shoot at ambulances and health personnel on duty.

Good protest

Wow! The action of these principled ambulance drivers makes a powerful statement. We need more nonviolent protest to shame evildoers and war criminals into reevaluating their actions.

You will never see this type of protest in America. FOX News, CNN, MSNBC and other cable networks broadcasting the alleged news in America never showed footage of Israeli attacks against ambulances in the occupied territories. However, one only needs to turn to News World International (NWI), a Canadian news network, to see a clip of an Israeli tank plowing an ambulance into the wall of a building. I was shocked!

Perhaps America has such a pro-Israeli bias precisely because scenes like that never make it onto American news broadcasts in the first place. The lesson herein is that freedom of the press means nothing wherein corporate media dominates all discussion and frames all the debates.
