Still a beautiful world

I've just had a look back through Indymedia postings and what a load of negativity there is!
Just to buck the trend I'm going to say some positive things - it's still a beautiful world, getting more so now the spring's on its way.
I think, despite all our problems, the human race is doing a wonderful job.
We all have a hard time being here (yes - even the windsors, money isn't everything you know!).
I appreciate the fact that I can go to the shops and there's food there. I can post a letter and it gets to its destination. I can play music through little tiny headphones and it sounds great. I can't afford department stores but there are charity shops so I don't go without.
I am so grateful to all the nameless people whose efforts go into all this stuff.
There have been far worse times to be alive in England.

thanks for those inspiring words, its made my day,

its easy to feel negative when you feel like your swimming against the tide but its important to remember all the truely magical things about being human

Interesting times

In the words of the Chinese curse 'May you live in interesting times' and these times are indeed interesting.The 'News for the Soul' website contains a positive newsline, which I have considered posting here. It's just that most of the news appeared to support the status quo. And there's so much wrong with what's happening.We live in a world whose main news is the hell-bent rush to warmongering. promoting global capitalism and the totalitarian state.The face of this process is unpleasant and threatening to us all People are right to come here with oppositional statements dwelling on the dark side. There is a spiritual awakening going on for the past decade or so that is very positive. There appears to be a machismo dominated agenda being perpetrated through the most violent and hostile means to kill that awakening. We need to expose and dismantle that structure, personified in the likes of Blair, Bush, Sharon, Trans-national companies,intelligence agencies, Oil companies and nuclear powerversus free energy, banks , insurance companies, litigation, fake moneyand credit. Destroy this power pyramid

.. I didn't know I was going to be so long to require a pasting... expose and get rid of all the negativity and you can start to sample the joys of the world. For a long period during the late eighties and nineties many of us turned away from politics as an inimitably corrupt charade, - which it is - to seek true spiritual growth. For the elite controllers of our global society however personal growth and development just isn't on the agenda. From all the signs, what is required is a world full of acquiescent slaves, serving the power needs of the few. Many are baulking against this trend, and the much injustice,imprisonment,torturing, killing, genocide and so on, occurring because of the implementation of the New World Order agenda. So, get with it sister. You may yet have to fight or be victim to the Spectacle.
