Henry Kissinger was Richard Nixon’s Secretary of State, his second in command, and continues to be an adviser behind the scenes.
He was a driving force behind the US war on Vietnam which killed 1 million Vietnamese people.
Kissinger was directly responsible for ordering the carpet-bombing of Cambodia in 1969.
He gave full backing and military assistance to the Pinochet coup in Chile, later sanctioning the murder of Orlando Letelier in Washington in 1976.
Kissinger backed the Pakistani government in opposing Bangladeshi indpendence. Once again he supplied arms and intelligence.
He gave the go-ahead for the Indonesian invasion of East Timor in 1975. Over 200,000 people were killed as a result.
He was also responsible for souring relations between Turkey, Greece and Cyprus, a division which still produces murder and maiming.
He was responsible for American foreign policy in central america including El Salvador, Nicruagua, Grenada and Cuba.
He was also responsible for the nuclear brinkmanship with the USSR, which bankrupted half the world as well as nearly destroying the planet and civilisation.
He was also involved in South Africa in 1974!
He was also a personal friend of Milosovic and was involved in the Bosnian war. Some say his interference caused the war.
More recently he has continued flying round the world campaigning on behalf of corporations, helping them access markets and assisting them to take over the world.
Kissinger’s legacy of American brutality around the world survives. He remains a hero to the warmongers in Washington and Downing Street. He continues to campain for the war on terrorism and advises the American government on their foriegn policy!
Kissinger is arriving in London to talk to the top 2,000 businessmen in Britain. He has his snout in the corporate trough too. Kissinger Associates’ clients have included Union Carbide(bopal!), Coca-Cola, American Express, ITT Lockheed, Arco, HSBC, Hollinger(the telegraph), Energoproject(dodgy constuction company), Continental grain co., Chase Manhattan Bank, HJ Heinz and president Wahid of Indonesia.
