Call to Action: “Critical Mass” Bike ride – Direct Action/Party on Wheels Against the European Union.
When? March 15 9:00 and 17:00
Where? Three meeting points: Metro Collblanc L4, Metro L3 Plaza Lessepts, Metro L5 Virrei Amat. One general meeting point: Plaza del MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) 20:30.
WHAT? At a moment when the city is in a state of police and financial siege, the streets a cemetery of motorized fumes and people living imprisoned in a cloud of carbon dioxide, we are liberating the streets, recuperating our public spaces and reviving the city. On wheels, without fumes and by bicycle Barcelona is taking back our neighborhoods, districts, plazas, streets, schools and universities from the asphyxiation of the globalizers. Barcelona, the city where so many of us live and communicate together, is taking back our air from the transnational greed mongers, automobiles and military virus that have contaminated our city. Reviving Barcelona is not an end, but rather a form of action for those of us who don’t want Barcelona to be in a state of global asphyxiation.
How?
Coordinating in assemblies. The Next Meeting: Wednesday March 6, Espai Obert, 19:00.
Organizing workshops to built our communication tools for the Direct Action/Party on Wheels (giant puppets, signs, bike modifications.) Workshops: Saturday and Sunday March 9 and 10 all morning in the Espai Obert.
