STOP THE WAR DEMO!

26.02.2002 15:49

I'm sure Internationalist won't mind me slipping this in
here.
Brothers and Sisters!
Their is a National Anti-war demonstration this Saturday.
Assemble 1.00 p.m. at Hyde Park to march to Trafalgar Square.
Bush has said this will be a "war year"
so we need to make this an "anti-war year".
It is no secret that BU$H is planning to invade Iraq
and Somalia this year.;
It is VITAL that ALL activists attend and build this
demonstration.
Why has the indymedia been virtually silent about this
demonstration!
Get it together, people! All out for March 2nd.

Another World is Possible!

PS. I wanted to include this as a separate comment, but couldn't work out how to add a comment to the main menu.

I can't figure it out - at first glance that comment looks like it *must* be a spoof (e.g. Antonius Cliffus...), but I kinda get the feeling that it's a person who genuinly really likes the SWP who implies that there is some nefarious indymedia censorship of this SWP demo!

Please put me out of my misery!

As to why indymedia has been quite about the demo, it is because it is a *news* site. Demos (unless they're the big'uns) are supposed to just go on the calendar, which is currently fucked. It has, however, been announced on the newswire a couple of times.
