Although people in front of the Embassy were doing their best to establish a dialogue with the cops, they behaved themselves like brisk gorillas throwing people on to the air, then arresting some of them. At time of uploading (5.00pm) they are still thinking what to charge them with. These photos could be a symbol of what is being done to freedom of expression...

I know what you mean though tourist. This was a show of solidarity - that 50-60 people turned up to a simple show of solidarity on a cold saturday when grosvenor square and the embassy are dead was a good thing and inspiring. A nice symbollic art thing to show the Italians we in this country care.
Although it's important to show what happened too, but not like victim TV. I think the way people remained non violent in the face of such aggression is the important thing.
