An action in solidarity with Indymedia Italy has taken place in front of the italian Embassy in London.
This afternoon around 50 people protested against the police raids in several social centres of Italy earlier this week, and in solidarity with Indymedia Italy.
Protesters threw video tapes outside the Embassy's front door and pasted posters in the embasy's facade stating 'Siamo Tutti Indymedia/We Are All Indymedia'. A small samba band was drumming away when the police violently interrupted the action punching and pushing people towards the other side of the road. Two people have been arrested and later relased with the charges of public disorder and threatening behaviour. They are due to appear in Court next wednesday.
