The true cost of E$$O petrol

Esso is currently spending thousands on advertising across the UK trying to convince drivers that 60 pence off £40 of petrol is a saving. But what's the true cost of Esso petrol?
Over the last month, people in flood-prone areas in the UK have again been battling against rivers which have burst their banks and flooded houses and businesses due to high rainfall.
Insurance companies have warned these people may not be able to insure themselves against floods in the future. The floods are costing the country millions.
January's issue of Nature magazine reports scientists predicting more of the same in a global warming world.
Esso hopes to get new customers through its latest price offer. No doubt the money it hopes to gain will be used to continue its fight to oppose international action on climate change.
Boycott Esso.
