ANARCHY IS ATTRACTIVE SAYS YARD COMMANDER

ES | 19.02.2002 12:36

Frontpage of the evening standard today - almost got run over reading the bloody thing this morning!

It's about Commander Brian Paddick (him of the brixton softly softly puff proposals) apparently posting his views to the  http://www.urban75.com message boards....

Check out
 http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=362

there's 8 pages of debate there.

The ES article's at:
 http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/dynamic/news/story.html?in_review_id=500613&in_review_text_id=463305
and surely must be a contender for best ES headline this year!

About anarchy he apparently says "The concept of Anarchism has always appealed to me. The idea of the innate goodness of the individual that is corrupted by society or the system. It is a theoretical argument but I am not sure everyone would behave well if there were no laws and no system."

However, without the blame culture tactics of having to take potshots at contributors or prove superior knowledge- it's goodnews stuff - eh?
