Anne was doing a fake version of her famous TV quiz show to raise money for the Vale of the White Horse Foxhounds hunting organisation.

Hundreds of 'Annes'

The real Anne Robinson

Over a hundred anti-hunt demonstrators dressed up as her with masks and T-shirts saying: "Anne, you are the weakest link, goodbye".

The protesters were from the League Against Cruel Sports (Lacs).

Anne tried to hide her face as she arrived at the event with police. She was taken to the back entrance so she didn't have to face them.

They even waved banners with the words: "Ginger Cool" and "Ginger Fool" with pictures of a fox and the quiz queen.

A protest spokesperson said: "She didn't want to face the protesters and didn't want to discuss the cruelty of fox hunting. The police held everyone back."

But organiser Shona Rogers said the protest hadn't ruined the event.
