Pro-capitalists display their power

Cash registers were humming today as many thousands of people took part in pro-capitalist demonstrations all over the UK (and beyond).
On Monday 11th February, thousands of groups and individuals took part in autonomous pro-capitalist actions in shops all over the UK (and abroad in co-incidental solidarity actions). These pro-capitalist activists took direct action to funnel funds into the hands of the global elite in order to perpetuate the continued exploitation of people, animals and the planet. Cash tills were ringing to the sound of healthy profits and economic growth throughout the day despite the best efforts of the a few anarchists in Slough who had super glued up the locks on their local butchers the night before.
The actions were mostly organised in an organic non-hierarchical fashion, perhaps adopted from anarchist traditions, although some were the work of ‘affinity’ groups known as ‘families’ which often operate under a strict if somewhat murky hierarchy known as patriarchy. They go under the loose banner of ‘consumers’ although deny that this constitutes any form of organisation or that they subscribe to any kind of agreed policy.
Todays actions are apparently part of an ongoing campaign that will not end until the worlds resources have been entirely plundered and continued life on this planet has been made impossible.
There were indications that anti-capitalist campaigners would counter todays actions but it appears they lunched it out.
Maybe tommorow…

Throughout the chaos and cash carnage of yesterdays pro-capitalist actions a surprisingly large mini-revolt was underway. Disguised as straightforward transactions, seemingly innocent pro-capitalist purchases were infact individual actions of resistance with the money being paid to a capitalist-split group called FAIR TRADE.
FAIR TRADE products tend to give more autonomy to the producers of the goods and a better price than would be offered by standard capitalist systems. they also tend to support less environmentally damaging production methods.
Various other groups were reported yesterday challenging the system from within, suspected groups include Consumer Power, GMfree OWN BRANDS, various Vegan and Vegitarian groups, as well as the Organic federation and the Green Energy alliances.
At the same time sketchy reports were emerging about shadowy networks of people who have created their own systems without the use of money. Called LETS - Local Exchange Trading Schemes - these cells operate for 'mutual benefit' and provide a structure allowing people to exchange goods and labour without the use of the traditional cash register or electronic banking networks.
One heavily disguised punter also alluded to a multitude of other groups and initiatives that criss cross the traditional boundaries of capitalism in an attempt to 'change the world for the better'.
However straw poll conducted in Oxford street revealed that 99% of pro-capitalists were unaware of the threats posed by these various subversive groups, many responding 'never heard of them mate'.
