Lambeth police cover up Deaths in Custody.

Brian Paddick, confronted Lambeth community last night at Town Hall meeting of Community-Police Consultative Group held (first Tuesday of every month)over 3 recent deaths in custody and frequent stop and searches in the black community.
Brian Paddick, head of Lambeth police,confronted concerned members of the community of Lambeth and the Movement for Justice Campaign at Lambeth Town Hall over the 4 deaths in custody over the past 5 months. The Community-Police Consultative Groupis held the first Tuesday of every month.
Complaints over new police "stop and search" laws involving frequent discrimination against Afro-Caribean youths were also on the agenda.
Police officers involved in the death of Derek Benett during an armed police operation will be summoned to Bow magistrates Court on March 20.

This was followed by Lambeth council employee Alex Owolade being unfairly dismissed for hid outspoken criticism about the tragic incidents.
