March and arrests at Plymouth DML gates

04.02.2002 21:24

The march was very succesfull. About 300 - 400 there, and good diversity. Totally peaceful, with good response from almost all local residents (e.g. from a nursing home which was about to be shut down by the Tory Council). There were about 8 arrests of people blockading the gate who refused to move when asked by the Police.
