The question is not (or should not be) whether we as viewers or contributers automatically know WHY something was hidden but whether, if we bother to make inquiries, we can find out. In other words, if something we (attempted) to post gets hidden, if something we briefly saw gets hidden, and we send an email to IMC support we get an answer back, say within 24-48 hours, a reasonable explanation.

And I believe that there usually would be a reasonable explanation. We've got a whole bunch of paranoid posters who when something gets hidden immediately assume they are being censored for content when the real explanation has to do with something technically wrong with the posting. In other words, THEY screwed up the posting.
