Makerere University students have staged their planned reformist meeting at the Freedom Square.The participants involved a cross section of reformists, anti-capitalists and other students from other higher institutions of learning.

The purpose of the meeting was to mourn several students who were killed under the rule of Uganda Military dictatorship of Yoweri Museveni and the Mismanagment of governance.It was intended to coincide with the NRM 16th anniversary celebrations(the day the Military Machine imposed its self on the masses) that were held at Kololo Airstrip as a way of expressing their right to exercise democracy and also to undermine authoritarianism.

The past 16 years are wasted years for Ugandans as the regime's main program has been Privatisation and sleeping in beds with the likes of World Bank and IMF.
