Injustice - the feature length documentary about deaths in police custody - will have a special screening in Derry, Northern Ireland, to mark the 30th anniversary of Bloody Sunday.

Families involved with the film including Brenda Weinberg (the sister of Brian Douglas, who died in police custody); Myrna Simpson (the mother of Joy Gardner, who died during a bungled police/immigration raid); and Irene Stanley (the widow of Harry Stanley, who was shot dead by a police armed repid response unit) will be travelling to Ireland. The film will be screened in the Bogside area where they - and the film-maker - will be joined for a Q&A session with relatives from the Bloody Sunday killings.

The screening of Injustice, on the 2nd February, will unite families who have suffered violence at the hands of the Metropolitan Police and the Royal Ulster Constabulary. The families will then take part in the Bloody Sunday commemorations on the following day.

This screening is part of an international tour of the film which is creating a framework for international action by the families of those who have died in police custody.

The event is being hosted by the Bloody Sunday Weekend Committee.
