Reproductive Freedom is a Woman's Right

I hear that the Supreme Court of the USA will be deciding once again on whether women should have access to legal abortion.
The recent case in Portugal in which 17 women faced jail for abortion surely illustrates that denying women the right to safe, legal abortion is cruel beyond belief.
No man has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. No woman can love a child on demand. She must want the child or it will grow up unloved and this brings its own misery for the child. The unloved and unwanted child will quite probably grow up with mental health problems and may well end its own life anyway.
The life - or death - of the child was always the responsibility of the mother in pre-christian society. Since we allowed the cruel sadism of the vatican to gain such ridiculous power, women have allowed their own bodies to become the 'property' of men. It is simply another example of the 'strong' oppressing the weak. But women are not truly weak and I know that we can fend off the oppressor when we stop believing his lies.
The hypocrisy of the patriarchy which kills with its bombs and poisons and then tells poor women that they must not kill their unborn children is, surely, beyond belief.
It is quite clear that women have become the scapegoat for the repressed guilt of the murderous men who rule our society.
When hypocrisy becomes as blatant as this, we're due for a change!
It is vital that women retain dominion over their own fertility and this means that abortion must remain legal and freely available to all women.
The choice is OURS and must remain so.
