Anarchist Youth on 26th

Fight War, Not Wars!

Assemble 12 noon, outside High
Street Kensington tube station

The Stop the War Coalition has called off their planned anti-war march apparently due to a "lull" in the war, at a time when the people of Afghanistan are still being bombed and the USA is threatening to execute POW's. But we welcome the idea of a mass protest against the racist war being waged by Ariel Sharon and the Israeli state on the Palestinian people.

The "War on Terrorism" has been used by states & businesses as an excuse to attack ordinary people like us. In the UK the media has been responsible for heightening racial discrimination and playing into the hands of the far-right, the government has attacked civil liberties and increased the number of police on the streets, the airline industry has made mass sackings. Police are using the new "terrorist threat" as an excuse to heighten their monitoring of political dissenters.

Capitalism and war come hand in hand, politicians regularly declare wars to make themselves richer or to defend their "economic interests", nearly all of the wars fought in the Middle East have been over oil. It's not the politicians that suffer because of this war, it is ordinary people like me and you, tens of millions of people have been killed in wars since 1945; an estimated 95% of the dead were unarmed civilians.

We will be assembling outside High Street Kensington tube station at 12 noon on Saturday 26th January with the intention of participating in the picket of the Israeli embassy. This will be the first action attended by the newly formed "Anarchist Youth Network". We will be having our first proper meeting after the picket at "Mr Gluck's Radical Dairy" a new social centre/infoshop in Stoke Newington, the meeting will start at 4pm, for directions to the social centre check out:  http://sag.antifa.net/~mrglucks/

All wars are terrorist!

Youth?

When does one stop being 'youth'? At age 10, 20, 30? The word 'youth' sounds like the educational and sidelined sections of socialist parties; the idea of a specifically 'youth' anarchist section is surely rather contradictory in nature?

not

yes

then why do people always tell us we aren't adults, we're "youths"?

yes but...

since a lot of activists are quite old they are at times not aware of issues regarding younger people and others at times cannot do certain actions eg get white overalls. like race and sex, age is a factor which can be overlooked by others so the youth group is just for anyone who wants to be anarchist but feels out of place with 40 year old activists using jargon and technical theory they dont understand.

against all authority

just because

Just because an 'adult' tells you you are 'youth' doesn't mean a fuckin thing. That 'adult' might have the same reasoning capacity as an infant. 'Youth' is a term used by socialist parties to dump their recruits into, ignore anarchism and call anarchists 'angry youth'; it is a label designed to ignore any arguments made by younger-than-30 people by labelling them 'youth'.

We're all human, lets not forget this fact when creating false boundaries and groupings of humans. For anarchy!
