Quite unbelievable that these two PM's will not goto the World Economic Forum. A major disaster for the organisers, already kicked out of Swizerland the WEF is losing credibility due to the brilliant non-violent protests of recent years.

President Kim Dae-jung has decided not to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held in late January.

In a briefing, Chong Wa Dae spokesman Oh Hong-keun told reporters, ``A final decision was made to decline the WEF's invitation of President Kim.''

Oh said that Kim decided not to go despite repeated requests, considering he has to concentrate on preparations for the World Cup finals and other important events.

Chong Wa Dae had reconsidered its stance because the forum would have given Kim a prominent role and also because U.S. President Bush and British Prime Minister Blair are scheduled to attend.
