Pakistani Hackers Attack U.S., U.K. Sites
A group of Pakistani computer hackers, claiming to be supporters of the Taliban terrorist regime and Kashmiri separatists have taken over Taiwanese servers for the purpose of launching a coordinated attack against sites in the U.S. and the U.K.
The hackers claim to have stolen top-secret U.S. military information and are threatening to hand it over to Osama Bin Laden's al-Qaeda terrorist network. Trojan Horse "sniffers" were installed on the hacked computers, and web pages were defaced.
The FBI has informed Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau of the attacks in a report identifying the group as "G-Force Pakistan". The attacks began in October, and it is suspected that they are linked to the September 11 attacks against the U.S.
