Pollution will kill us in 10 years from now

How long do you think you have left to live? 30 years? 50 years? If we don't reduce our pollution dramaticly, scientists expect us all to be dead in 10 years from now.
We all know that we're buisy destroying the Earth. Cars kill over a million animals each day, pollution is the cause of 80% of all astma patients and water already needs to be cleaned before we can drink it. We all know how come, and nobody does anything about it.
This has to change dramaticly, otherwise scientists expect that this planet will in 10 years from now no longer contain any form of life anymore. In other words: if we don't reduce our pollution dramaticly, we will all be dead in 10 years from now.
One of the biggest form of pollution comes from cars. This is very easy to reduce: Leave your car home. Instead, go by bike or public transport. Healthier, and better for the environment! If you really need a car, search for a car that runs on electricity. Those aren't that expensive (definately not compared to the price you will otherwise have to pay in 10 years from now), they can do the same as other cars, but they don't pollute!
Instead of normal batteries, use rechargable batteries. Cheaper, and better for the environment. Definately if you buy a battery recharger that works on solar system. Those cost the same as other battery rechargers but they use the sun to recharge the battery instead of your power socket.
Use as less plastic as possible. Instead of using plastic bags, use paper bags or use your own bag. Don't throw paper in the garbage can, but throw it in the paper recycling container instead. This way, you reduce the amount of garbage.

5 years ago some professors from the University of Amsterdam faculty Biology and faculty Human Health came with the conclusion that the pollution we humans create is still increasing by a quite straight line. If we continue to do this, we will make this planet everything but a happy place to live for our kids kids kids kids.
But it's not only humans that distroy our ozon. In fact, there is something else much worse on this planets: vulcanos. One vulcano eruption pollutes as much as the entire USA and EU together in one year. For the next 15 years (in 1997), a few more vulcano eruptions were expected than normal. Two of the expected vulcano eruptions have taken place now, four more to come. The sad thing about vulcano eruptions is that we can't do anything about it. Knowing this, the UofA profs came to the conclusion that if we don't reduce our pollution dramaticly, we might not be able to survive these vulcano eruptions.
This prediction was done in 1997. Now it's 2002, 5 years later, and thus 10 years left to go before we know if they were right...

cos environmental protection agencies, politicians ect are all in the pockets of the corporate scum responsible for the pollution. most people, like 2 wankers above, don't have a clue about what is going on. It's fairly simple, if chemical and petro chemical companies were made to clean up their shit then there business would not be sustainable. So they hand over their highly toxic by products to organized crime who
'get rid of it' for them. organisations like greenpeace are
a complete waste of time their high profile campaigns are merely stunts designed to boost fund raising. They are certainly not going to make the slighest difference to the Eco mafia and it's highly lucrative trade in toxic waste.
Bono is a complete pratt, but whats that go to do with it.
If it's possble for highly toxic fly ash to find it's way into building blocks in the UK, it won't be long before they'll be putting it in Pork Pies, perhaps thye already do !

There's no way that the USA will change its energy consuming ways until it's too late. USA will drive the world to destruction one way or another you can bet on it.
