Spent the last couple of weeks here in Koh Phan Ngan , Thailand and thought i shoyld fill in ya in on some of whats goin on!! Before the massive, but seriosly cheesy, full moon party on Had Rin beach it was fairly well known that 500 plain clothes police had arrived in town just for the party and new years eve!! They could easily be seen hanging around in groups watching people. Anyone cought with so much as a roach is jumped on dragged off and made to pay 50-90000 Bahts(900-1500 pounds) or stay ang get tortured in a thai jail for many years. We saw people jumped on and punched in the face before being dragged of screaming!! It is well known here that the US pay quite a few dollars to the Thai authorities of everyday that a westerner is looked up in a Thai jail for drugs charges!! There was a 3 day crap trance party at a waterfall which was actually a tepid pond and stream. When we arrived we saw a group of 6 or so Thai policemen in uniform outside. With them was a white man with blond hair in his thirties. He carried a radio and wore a small badge. Who could this be??? DEA who else. Helping the evil Thai police catch westerners going to a party for a laugh. Of course there were psycadelics inside but for fucks sake!!! America pushing its fascist foreign policy in a country where they will kill you and definately torture you for not very much.
