It would seem that those who act to engender greater profit (or power) for themselves, have very narrowly defined goals.
Obviously many people feel it correct to resist the actions of the few, which affect the many on such an adverse basis.

The thing is though that this resistance does not seem to have a central theme or aim, being made up of many different factions, with thier own particular concerns.

To some extent this diversity is a very good thing, but in the face of the highly orgnised seekers of profit and power, it does mean it is difficult to state a case that all would agree with fully.

Would it not be a good idea to formulate a document (say the Universal Declaration of International Human Rights), which would form a basis for a greater level of cooperation and understanding between many diverse factions?

Of course many corporations, governments, and business people, would be by default, in contravention of such an understanding. This would present a good opportunity to publicise the adverse effects of corporate greed, and government corruption.

Wonder what everyone thinks of something along lines like this?
