Hi, I just wanted to make the point that the guy who made it over the fence to stop the plane wasn't on the run-way. The intention was to carefully wave the plane to a stop while it was still on the apron/ramp (taxi area), wearing high-visibility vest, bands and a big yellow "WANTED" sign (Bin Laden, Bush). He was arrested by police while still on rough grass near the apron.

I'm only saying this so that nobody tries running onto the run-way, where the plane can't stop for you even if the pilot cared to. Since the Shannon rally people are suggesting for future actions: speak to airport apron workers (e.g. baggage handlers) to get a better idea of what goes on, get into an affinity group, and get nonviolence training and legal advice before you try **anything**.
