A NURSE IS JUST NOT FOR XMAS.ITS TIME TO LOOK AFTER THE HEALTH OF NURSES

Action is need to help to improve the health and conditions of nurses and other workers. Please raise raise this issue

Against the cold weather spell due there will no doubt be news of bed
blocking,hot bedding,nursing home beds,cancelled operations.Solutions will be
offered in terms of private health, more taxation and new management
systems.Yet there are other issues that need discussion.

Depression is spreading through out Britain as the general population move to
take ever increasing amounts of anti- depressants. The incidences of suicide is
rising to.But little attention is given to the humans that work these failing and
creaking health systems.

Nurses are four times more likely to die as a result of suicide than the general
population(Drs are twice as likely.)This has been confirmed by organisations as
varied as the Samaritans and Liberal Democrat Party research.Action is now
long over due
