Phobic = Irrational fear.
So, I have an irrational fear of people of the same sex? Don't think so. My brother is a man and he doesn't scare me. In fact, the blokes in the pub don't scare me either. Is homophobia anything like Islamophobia? The irrational fear of a bunch of daft gits who treat women like shit?
