Conspiracy attacks man indicted by Federal Grand Jury...[comment]

"A good prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich."

"Al-Qaida will now meet the justice it abhors and the judgment it fears", Ashcroft said.

Maybe the justice to be abhored is the 'Federal Grand Jury' process?

Today, many would agree with the observation of William J. Campbell, former federal district judge in Chicago: "[T]oday, the grand jury is the total captive of the prosecutor who, if he is candid, will concede that he can indict anybody, at any time, for almost anything, before any grand jury."

The 'many' could possibly include the former president Clinton and others at the receiving end of a 'grand jury'.

French Moroccan Zacarias Moussaoui, "an active participant" in the terrorist attacks will be paying heavily for "undergoing the same training, receiving the same funding and pledging the same commitment to kill Americans" as the terrorists on the hijacked planes.

He may come to regret learning about "dispersal of chemicals" and crop-duster planes. He sought flying lessons in Minnesota a month before the hijackings. The evidence is conclusive and compelling, he wanted to learn to fly, but not take off or land. This wuz the same school that 'Atta' checked into, obviously.

Maybe a 'Federal Death Penalty' is on the way for conspiring with Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida to murder thousands of innocent people in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania?

Zacarias Moussaoui stayed out of America at the time of the destruction of the World Trade Centre and attempted destruction of the Department of Defense headquarters, the Pentagon. He was at home, in France, where his family is.

His fate might not be a matter of fair justice in the courts by grand jury if he had decided to be an Al-Qaeda operative in the field, in ye-olde Afganistan for the attacks. Unfortunately, Al-Qeada operatives in the field are stateless "unlawful combatants" under the rules of war. As such, they are not subject to the rules of the Geneva Convention.

Al-Qaeda have been fought through Gore-s cyberspace and Rumsfield's drawn a blank. The hard drive of Zacarias Moussaoui revealed no hidden coded Al-Qaeda messages or any powerful and succinct websites to claim for the actions, and maybe explain the conspiracy and spectacle.

Is Al-Qaeda a new made up name for the real invisible enemy or just one for the historians to write about?
