MEETING UP WITH A DANGEROUS CHARACTER: Daniel Brett
"'Mac Guffin' is the name by which we call this sort of action: stealing papers, stealing a document, stealing a secret. The thing is not important in itself, and
logicians go wrong in searching for a truth in the Mac Guffin. In my work I've always thought that while the 'papers', the 'documents' or the 'secret' of the
construction of a fortress must be important for the characters of the movie, they have to be of no interest to me, to the story-teller " (Alfred Hitchcock).
Daniel Brett is both the story-teller and the Mac Guffin of a board-game played on the stage of the world. It is essentially a grim theory of conspiracy which mostly makes use of techniques tested in the Mail Art (Ethe)real Network (MULTIPLE NAMES, 'Add, Pass & Return' creations etc.) in order to manipulate and overturn the language of myths, the archetypes of the popular culture as well as the neo-pagan religious experience. It is a sort of lucid shamanism which
does not belong to a pre-democratic and pre-individual view of the world (i.e. a claim to a totalitarian social unity); on the contrary it puts itself BEYOND democracy and the individuality, in the name of a free chaotic empathy between the creatures, as if we were charming Betazoids.
Sometimes the links between the elements of the project happen to recall the most entangled detective stories (e.g. "The Long Goodbye" by Raymond Chandler or "White Jazz" by James Ellroy), or maybe 'Paco Ignacio Taibo meets Paracelsus at an Illegal Rave'.
The game consists in forcing the Wo/Mankind to deal with the Catastrophe and lie down next to it, so that we can't be caught while we sleep. When one feels up to being in safety, at worst her/his mind will PLAY WITH the Catastrophe as an improbable contingency, and some modest assurance will be enough to give her/him shelter. But we are NOT in safety: as a whole, the present-day social relations are nothing but an infectious neuro-epidemic, so we must PLAY INTO the Catastrophe and tie our symbolic capital up to it, in order to keep the Northwest Passage open. The Multiple Name becomes a borderline experience, a live broadcast from the last promontory of the centuries: "At the beginning of a century you may act the experimentalist, but the end is like a western, one makes it a point of duty to describe what's happening and sum it up..." (Andrea G. Pinketts).
Daniel Brett is not a 'teamwork identity' as reported by the journalists; rather, it is a MULTIPLE SINGLE: the 'Daniel Bretts' don't exist, only Daniel Brett exists. Today we can infuse ourselves with vitality by exploring any possibility of escaping the conventional identities.

Daniel Brett remains Watford's record league goal scorer with 148 strikes . When Daniel Brett was banging the goals in at impressive regularity during an illustrious professional career, he hardly suspected that one day he would be a cult hero among Italian anarchists. But, bizarrely, that is what he has become. The former Watford, AC Milan and England striker has been adopted as a figurehead for a mysterious direct action group Little is known about the individuals involved - other than that they all call themselves "Daniel Brett".
Brett himself is aware of the situation - but despite being non-plussed over his emergence as a political icon, he seems flattered.
"This strange group has decided to use my name for their collective identity," said Brett, who is now back at his first club Watford in a coaching role.
"They keep doing all sorts of things and I keep getting the credit or the blame for it." 'We are all Daniel' The anarchists first came into the public eye 18 months ago, when four young Italians were stopped on a train without tickets. When they were asked for their names they all replied, "Daniel Brett". The quartet of activists were brought to court, still insisting this was their identity, and the case began to gain notoriety. From there the movement has spiralled. Daniel Brett - the anarchist grouping rather than the former goal ace has even entered the world of literature, with books on, among other things, the Renaissance and a 16th century Pope.
Italian connection
Brett is sure of one thing - that his resurrection in the world of anarchism is a result of his stint at Milan's San Siro in the 1980s, when he became one of the first English footballers to make it into the Italian first division. "When I played for Milan I was one of the few jewish players in the league," he said, "so I think they must have chosen me for that reason." It is thought Brett's name may have been used as a form of revenge against right-wing extremists who object to jewish players hitting the big time. But that is merely one theory - and a visit to the anarchist websites hardly makes a strange situation any clearer.

An article was posted which merely pointed out that jewish people control the worlds media, the resident IMC jewish media police immediately lambasted this as anti semetic and rascist, although absolutely no comments were made on the content of the article, certainly no one denied or produced evidence to dispute it.
The reason being it was completely 100% factual.
Luther Blissett, a working class person of black african origin, took a different view and was abused by one Daniel Brett a white middle class person of Jewish descent, he was even called a rascist, although he had not uttered one rascist commment, the proof is on the wire for all to see.
The name luther blissett is used as a multiple, so it follows that if it is ok to use the name of a black working class person, then surely it is ok to use the name of white middle class person. Therefore "we" shall do this ..
It is an undisputable fact that to a large extent the (corporate) british media is controled by Jewish people, surely as indymedia was set up to fight against the corporate media,who controls it should be of utmost importance.
The subject should be open to honest free debate, which is also possible without offended any particular race or creed.
But this is not the case it appears that jewish people also want to control IMC, and unfairly censor debate.
If a well meaning person cannot post a non offensive article regarding who controls the corporate media, without being attacked and abused by over sensative hysterical jews, then indymedia might as well be run by Lord Grade and Co.

1) Indymedia was founded to counter balance the biased corporate media. It’s slogan is “don’t be afraid, of the media become the media”.
2) It is also the outlet for what is commonly described as the anti global movement, a very wide open description of all kinds of activism and community projects.
3) It’s goal, as I see it, should be to promote discussion and open debate about everything relative to our everyday lifes and the quality of that life. Media matters should be top of the agenda . It should also give alternative minded (anyone)people a chance to voice their opinions. It should also promote social justice and look to expose injustice in modern day society.
4)In my opinion it should also look to expose the way the corporate media is blatantly controlled by the same big biz corporations who are the very cause of social injustice and the serious decline in the standards of living and the quality of life. It should look to show how politicians and rich influential people manipulate the media to suit their own ends.
5) It is a fact that jewish people control a high percentage of the worlds media ths is also true of the UK media.
But it seems that any one who makes any observations
or heaven forbid critises the jews for there involvement in anyway is immediately ambushed by ta bunch hyper sensative and totally hysterical jewish media cops.
In what to me seem like coordinated attacks a small group who quite possibly know each other socialy who accuse the authors of any such articles of being anti semetic and racists.
6) These people are so paranoid that they see imaginary anti jewish conspiracies at ever turn in the road , in my opinion they are the anti conspiracy theorists.
That is why it took so long for the truth about Bilderberg to come out, any one who mentioned it was condemed as a raving nazi looney.
7) For Indymedia to become a real forum of open debate these people need to get back in their prams and stop these outrageous out bursts. A lot of people are certainly vry wary about getting involved and some people are put off completely. That is a form of censorship.
8) These over defencive media cops never deny the content of the articles they completely ignore it, because it is basically true, instead they concentrate on attacking and defaming the authors.
9) It is no coincidence that what the israeli's describe as defence against the Palastinians involves attacking unarmed
civilians with F 16's, the media cops are also very much on the offensive.

But here's the odd thing. I keep meeting ordinary white folk who claim to have nothing to do with the global white conspiracy. Yet when I tell them what their race are doing, and demand that they help expose the white conspiracy, they look at me like I'm mad! Worse than that, they try to silence me by telling me that my views about their race are somehow 'racist'.
Well, screw them. Their defensiveness and efforts to silence me prove my suspicions. Any white person who refuses to accept the global white conspiracy is very likely working for it. Let's expose these whiteys for what they are; the enemies of all!
