Party for peace DUBLIN - Thousands on latest Anti-War march
Singing, Music, Dancing and a carnival like atmosphere turned Dublin city centre in to a ‘¹arty for peace?yesterday Sat 1st Dec. A guestimated couple of thousand protesters marched through O`Connell St demanding an end to the killing in Afghanistan. This colourful and noisy event attracted people from Derry, Cork, Galway, Sligo, Belfast and Dublin making it one of the largest anti war demos in Ireland since the Vietnam war.
