The World Economic Forum (WEF) recently announced that it was moving its annual meeeting of world leaders from the Swiss ski resort of Davos to New York City. As outrage grows, The Anti-Capitalist Convergence and the International Action Center have both issued calls to action. Other groups have also begun organizing against the WEF, which has become increasingly unpopular in its home base of Switzerland. Concerns have also been expressed that global elites are setting a trap for protesters against corporate globalization.
